I feel passionate about helping individuals experience a deeper sense of peace, clarity, and confidence

During the initial phase of therapy, I listen, build trust, and provide a safe space for you to feel seen and heard. I provide feedback and perspectives but with the purpose that this is your process to make connections, explore and develop your insights and new perspectives. We will also look at unconscious and complex patterns, bringing them into awareness to transform automatic behavioral stress reactions. This will provide you with the awareness and to develop cognitive reframing, new coping skills and a deeper understanding of your core strengths and values. This is an important part of the therapeutic relationship & process.

We can later discuss if integrating traditional “talk therapy” with Somatic therapy is apppropriate or right for you. Somatic therapy; is a mind-body approach using breathing techniques, mindfulness exercises, stress reduction tools, and specific mind-body interventions.

While traditional talk therapy is helpful, my therapeutic style is integrative which includes a Mind-Body Approach

The mind-body approach incorporates all aspects of yourself or the whole being. Why? Your mind, body, and spirit experience(d) life in each situation and will continue to do so. This includes; your beliefs and attitudes including the thinking mind and belief aspects along with emotional struggles, physical symptoms or felt senses in the body, and the spiritual part of you will be addressed in the treatment process. We can discuss if or when it is appropriate to incorporate a mind-body integration in therapy sessions.

Feeling a deeper sense of calm, contentment, and clarity is possible. Experiencing relief, gaining new insights, and self-awareness to develop coping skills and strategies to move beyond perceived limitations is possible. You can begin your journey to feeling more resilient, empowered, and focused in your life.
